Regular Paper Submission

We welcome contributions describing the latest scientific and technological research and activities in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Authors should prepare a paper (4-6 pages) using the template in the IEEE style and submit it for review by March 21, 2024 Closed via online paper submission site.

All papers will be peer-reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Accepted papers will be considered for IEEE NANO 2024 Best Paper Award, and publication in IEEE Xplore.

Select the Type of Submission that you are interested to submit.
  3. Fill in the information about “Title, Authors*, Keywords**, and Abstract“; and then continue to the next page.
  4. Upload your paper in a PDF, MS-Word, or Latex (Note: The main.tex file should be called root.tex)

* NOTE: “Authors” should be entered through their PIN numbers and every author must have a PIN.

  1. If you have submitted papers to prior NANO conferences: You should have your PIN number. You can retrieve your or co-authors’ existing PIN or set/reset your PASSWORD in the PIN Wizard at the submission site, and the same for all the authors.
  2. If you have never submitted papers to NANO conferences: You should set your PIN and PASSWORD in the PIN Wizard at the submission site. The same should be done for the authors without PIN.

** NOTE: Authors should select “Keywords”, which are the names of NTC Technical Committees (TC), when submitting a paper. The Technical Program Committee will handle the peer reviews of submitted papers and accepted papers will be assigned to the appropriate sessions based on the author’s application and program requirements.

*** NOTE: Only full papers (4-6 pages) in IEEE style must be submitted on or before March 21, 2024 Closed. Accepted full papers will be considered for IEEE NANO 2024 Best Paper Award and will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.

**** NOTE: There are extra page charges over 6 pages (see the Registration Site).

To Update an Existing Submission

  1. Go to the Online Paper Submission Site.
  2. Login with your PIN and PASSWORD; and go to the author workspace for NANO 2024.
  3. Follow the link to “Update Submission Information” or to “Reupload” the manuscript file.

Notification of Acceptance

Notification of acceptance will be sent on end of April, 2024 (tentative) to the authors’ emails.

Final Paper Submission

Final papers in a PDF, MS-Word, or Latex must be submitted on or before June 5, 2024 with revisions/updates based on review comments.

Paper Publications

  • IEEE Xplore: Accepted full papers for IEEE NANO 24 will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting & Indexing (A&I) databases. The four-pages article must contain original results, maybe complementary to previous articles. If you want to use published figures, you must have permission from the publisher.

NOTE: Only full papers (4 to 6 pages) submitted by March 21, 2024 will be considered for the inclusion to IEEE Xplore with their acceptances!

About IEEE Xplore

IEEE Xplore is the flagship digital platform for discovery and access to scientific and technical content published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and its publishing partners.

IEEE Xplore contains more than 6 million documents and other materials from some of the world’s most cited publications in electrical engineering, nanotechnology, and related sciences.

IEEE Xplore provides outstanding visibility for your research. Make sure to cite relevant references that form the foundation of your study. Proper citations not only aid readers in understanding your paper but also acknowledge the authors of the cited references appropriately. Additionally, citing relevant articles can attract more views and downloads to your paper. Conversely, avoid citing papers that are unrelated to your work.

IEEE Xplore will assign a DOI to your publication and it will be indexed in SCOPUS, ORCID and WoS.

  • Special Issues/Sections: Papers presented at IEEE NANO 2024 will be selected to be considered for publications in special sections of the following peer-reviewed journals:

>> IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology (IF 2.967)
>> IEEE Transactions on Nanobioscience (IF 3.206)
>> IEEE Open Journal of Nanotechnology (IF 1.7)
